1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that you are authorized to act on behalf of your business and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

YourCFO provides an AI-powered conversational interface that helps businesses connect or upload financial data and receive insights and guidance regarding their finances. YourCFO does not provide certified public accounting, tax, legal, or investment advisory services, and outputs should not be treated as a substitute for professional financial advice.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Connecting Financial Data

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect or upload any financial data to the Service. You authorize YourCFO to access and process this data to generate insights as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Cancellation

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance at the price shown when you subscribe. By subscribing you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

• You may cancel at any time from your account settings, and your plan remains active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for
• We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law
• Changing plans takes effect from your next billing date unless stated otherwise at the time of the change
• We may change our prices, and will give you notice before a change applies to your subscription
• If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until the balance is settled

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service
• Upload data you do not have the right to share
• Misrepresent your identity or business

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including the underlying software, are owned by YourCFO and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the data you provide.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. YourCFO does not guarantee that insights generated will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YourCFO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including financial decisions made based on insights provided.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict of law principles.
